I learn a lot about God by being a parent. Recently my son called and wanted to do dinner. I asked if he wanted to come to the house and have dinner with the rest of the family and he said no I would like to have just some father and son time. WOW! I thought. You bet. So we planned to meet the next day. I was feeling so excited to have this time with my son.
This morning while I was working out God whispered and said just like you look forward to those father & son times so do I. God said to me I look forward to and enjoy our times together.
God's heart is a fathers heart - he loves spending time with his children. Could there be any greater God than that? I don't think so.
